Questions before your first scan
- Is it accurate?
- Mira reads what a phone camera can see — hydration, oiliness, pores, texture, redness, pigmentation, wrinkles, acne and dark circles — and gives you a consistent, comparable cosmetic read. Even lighting and a clean lens matter most; the in-app tips help. It is guidance for choosing products, not a medical assessment.
- Does Mira store my photo?
- Learn how we handle your photo in our Privacy Policy. Your reading (scores, summary and routine) is saved to your profile. You can export or delete your account data in Settings.
- Is it free?
- Yes. The free tier includes 10 scans every 30 days with your core results. Premium adds the full AM / PM routine, scan history and re-scan comparison — see the pricing page.
- Is it medical advice?
- No. Mira is cosmetic guidance, not medical advice: it helps you choose products and build a routine. For persistent or worrying changes, see a dermatologist.
- What’s different from a skin-type quiz?
- A quiz asks how your skin feels; Mira looks at it. The reading is zoned across nine dimensions, so an oily T-zone and dry cheeks get different advice — and every product suggestion shows the reasoning.
